Job Description :


Skills : Automation testing, Cypress, Javascript or Typrescript, Appium, Ci/CD pipelines

Key Responsibilities :

Test Planning and Strategy :


- Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans and strategies.

- Define test objectives, scope, and timelines.

Test Execution :


- Perform various types of testing including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Execute test cases to ensure our high standards are maintained.

Defect Management :


- Take ownership of defects and ensuring reported defects contain details needed for all departments to understand, action and re-test where necessary.

Automation :


- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and increase our confidence with each release iteration.

- Identify key areas worth focusing on for automated testing to increase test coverage.

Documentation :


- Create and maintain detailed test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

- Document test results, findings, and recommendations for improvement.

Quality Assurance Best Practices :


- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to software quality assurance.

- Implement best practices to enhance the overall quality of our software products.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Quality-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Agile Tester (CAT), or similar are a plus.

Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience with automated testing techniques and tools, Cypress being preferable.

- Hands on experience in Appium

- Basic understanding of TypeScript or other similar programming languages

- Understanding of Git / GitHub for source control

- Experience using Jira for defect management
