Responsibilities: -

·Familiarity with the Cobol

·Prepares project plans using project management tools.

·Responsible for Requirement Gathering, Requirement Review, Impact Analysis, Estimation along with Coding, Peer Code Reviews, Unit testing, System Testing, and Implementation

·To Recreate the issue, Debugging and fixing defects and enhancements

·Well organized, methodical and disciplined approach and a clear understanding of role and how it relates to the team’s and organization objectives and willingness to learn and develop knowledge based on current work profile and future endeavours and challenges

·Planning, analysis, design, coding, and testing software applications

·Work as integral member of technical teams, supporting standard SDLC phases by regularly performing tasks such as programming/coding, and testing results

·Working collaboratively with product specialists and regulatory personnel to develop application specifications that conform to existing architecture

·Developing, testing, and debugging application source code per specifications

·Manipulating application test/production data as required by the regulatory and product specialists.


Technical Qualification: -

·COBOL

·ODBC / JDBC

·PostgreSQL database

·XML Parsing

·AcuCobol 10.2 (Compiler)

·Web with IIS, API, Microsoft visual studio

·Windows Server from an overall support standpoint – event viewer, software installation, services, computer management skills, Lan groups, basic knowledge of .bat scripts (how to create/ run / use)



Responsibilities: -

·Designing Java-based applications and their full implementation.

·Understanding the requirements of the users to create the application design.

·Defining the objectives and functions of the applications.

·Ensuring that the application objectives are according to the business goals of the company.

·Developing and testing the software.

·Debugging and resolving the technical issues that come in.

·Examine the current code and suggest patches, design changes or code fixes.

·Creating multimedia applications.

·Preparing the documentation of the design.

·Preparing and producing releases of software components.

·Support continuous improvement, searching for alternatives and technologies.

·Preparing documentation for assisting users.

·Ensuring continuous professional self-development.



Technical Qualification: -

·Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems

·Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts

·Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns

·Skill for writing reusable Java libraries.

·Knowhow of Java concurrency patterns

·Basic Understanding of the concepts of MVC (Model-View-Controller) Pattern, JDBC (Java Database Connectivity), and RESTful web services

·Experience in working with popular web application frameworks like Play and Spark

·Relevant Knowledge of Java GUI frameworks like Swing, SWT, AWT according to project

requirements.

·Ability to write clean, readable Java code.

·Basic knowhow of class loading mechanism in Java

·Experience in handling external and embedded databases.

·Understanding basic design principles behind a scalable application

·Skilled at creating database schemas that characterize and support business processes.

·Basic knowledge of JVM (Java Virtual Machine), its drawbacks, weaknesses, and workarounds

·Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

·In-depth knowledge of code versioning tools, for instance, Git

·Understanding of building tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc

·Expertise in continuous integration

·Java Server pages (JSP) and servlets

·Web frameworks like Struts and Spring

·Service-oriented architecture.

·Web Technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery

·Markup Languages such as XML, JSON

·Abstract classes and interfaces

·Constructors, lists, maps, sets

·File IO and serialization.

·Exceptions

·Generics

·Java Keywords like static, volatile, synchronized, transient, etc.

·Multithreading and Synchronization
