Position Overview:

As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer at Sakar Robotics, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the embedded systems that drive our robotic solutions. This position requires a strong background in both hardware and software engineering, along with a keen interest in the challenges of the robotics field.


Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for robotics systems, focusing on control systems, communication protocols, and signal processing.

- Implement and maintain firmware across various microcontrollers and embedded processors integral to our robots.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers and software developers to define product specifications and system requirements.

- Lead debugging and troubleshooting efforts to enhance system reliability and performance.

- Participate in code reviews and establish best practices for embedded system development.

- Ensure the scalability and security of the embedded systems architecture.

- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

- Keep abreast of new trends and technologies in the embedded systems and robotics fields.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Robotics, or related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in embedded systems development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

- Proficiency in embedded software programming with expertise in C, C++, and/or Assembly.

- Solid experience with RTOS, microcontroller architectures, and various communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).

- Experience with embedded Linux and kernel development.

- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex hardware-software integration issues.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively across diverse teams.

- Prior experience in the robotics or automation industries is highly desirable.
