Role Overview :

As a SAP FICO Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) modules. Your primary responsibilities will include configuring, testing, and deploying SAP solutions to meet business requirements, particularly focusing on Costing-Based Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) and financial management processes. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of SAP FICO within our FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Utilize deep functional knowledge of SAP FICO modules to design and implement solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices.

- Configure SAP CO-PA to support cost and revenue allocations, profitability reporting, and variance analysis specific to the FMCG sector.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and translate business needs into technical specifications.

- Lead or participate in SAP FICO module upgrades, enhancements, and integrations with other SAP modules or third-party systems.

- Perform system testing, defect resolution, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality and reliability of implemented solutions.

- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO issues, incidents, and enhancements, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.

- Stay updated with SAP product developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes to propose and implement continuous improvements.

Requirements :

- Proven experience as a SAP FICO Consultant with a strong focus on CO-PA, Finance, and Controlling modules.

- Hands-on experience in configuring SAP CO-PA for FMCG industry requirements, including product costing, profitability analysis, and margin analysis.

- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting processes, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, asset accounting, and financial reporting.

- Experience with domestic project implementations and understanding of localized business practices and statutory requirements.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business scenarios into actionable SAP solutions.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- SAP certifications in FICO modules and additional modules such as Material Ledger or Project Systems (PS) would be advantageous.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
