We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golang Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of progressive software development experience, with a strong focus on Golang. This role requires a proficient developer who can build scalable, fault-tolerant web services and APIs, lead complex projects, and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend systems, integrating with various data stores, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable, fault-tolerant web services and APIs using Golang.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural patterns.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and application performance.

- Lead complex projects involving multiple frontend and backend components.

- Coordinate work across teams, including frontend developers, database administrators, and product managers.

- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

- Develop and maintain high-quality, testable, and maintainable code in Golang.

- Build robust and efficient backend systems.

- Integrate with various data stores and APIs.

- Optimize application performance and ensure a seamless user experience.

- Work with database management systems, specifically MongoDB.

- Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for application deployment and management.

- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5-8 years of progressive software development experience, with a focus on Golang.

- 5+ years of experience in organizations with a demonstrated culture of engineering execution excellence.

- 3+ years of experience leading complex projects involving multiple frontend and backend components.

- 3+ years of experience building scalable, fault-tolerant web services and APIs.

- Strong knowledge of and demonstrated experience with writing high-quality, testable, and maintainable code.

- Experience with database management systems, specifically MongoDB.

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Experience with automated testing frameworks.

- Experience with performance analysis and optimization.
