Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager - Business Finance to manage the Order to Cash function and lead related initiatives. The candidate will need to interact with various stakeholders across different functions to be able to have the right impact in the role. The candidate should have problem-solving skills that will be used in driving efficiencies in the Order to Cash function.
The candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing financial strategies that drive efficiency in the Order to Cash function.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Management: Managing the CRM workflow, accuracy of entries, ensuring in line with signed contracts and reconciliation with invoicing & revenue. Weekly sales reporting.
Evaluation of contracts: Reviewing Contract pricing & highlighting deviations from the standard practises, suggesting ways to structure contracts more beneficially for the Company. Legal experience is not required, the candidate would be provided with some standardised approaches to handling the requirements around Contracting.
Project tracking for closed sales: Collecting and reviewing project budgets and updating Project trackers.
Driving efficiency in the Order to Cash process: Work with various stakeholders to drive efficiency - effective communication with Partners, Clients, Managers on pending actions to improve TAT.
Stakeholder Management: Assist in obtaining confirmations from project teams to raise invoices in a timely manner. Assist in monitoring customer accounts for outstanding balances and aged invoices. Help maintain communication with clients regarding payment arrangements.
Reporting: Preparing and sending reports to Senior Management on Sales & Accounts Receivable with analysis and suggestions for next steps.
Qualifications/ Key skills
- MBA Finance, M.Com
- 2-4 years of experience in Finance/ Finance Operations roles in a Corporate, preferable in the Order to cash function
