We have a new urgent GCP Data Engineer opportunity open to support a migration initiative from Teradata to Cerebro (BigQuery). This role requires a hands-on developer who can collaborate closely with our data and reporting teams to ensure smooth repointing and validation of Power BI reports.Request Details:- Title: GCP Data Engineer - Seniority: Mid to Senior (5–10 years’ experience) - Required Tech Stack: GCP – BigQuery, Cloud Storage - Database / Tools: Teradata, SQL, Power BI (report connectivity) - Start Date: ASAP - Soft Skills: Fluent English to work directly on an international team - Overlap: Standard daily overlap with EST - Work Model: 100% Remote - Package : 23LPA - 27LPA(based on experience)Job Description:- Support the migration of reporting data sources from Teradata to Cerebro (BigQuery). - Repoint and validate existing Power BI reports to new BigQuery data models. - Design and develop new tables, views, and queries in BigQuery to support migrated reports. - Conduct QA validation to ensure data accuracy and performance parity post-migration. - Collaborate with the BI and infrastructure teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure seamless integration. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to query performance, permissions, or connectivity.Share Resume careers@hish.ca with Current, expected ctc and notice period.
