Job Title : Python Automation EngineerExperience : 36 YearsLocation : Bangalore (Work from Office)Employment Type : Full-timeJob Description :We are looking for a skilled Python Automation Engineer with a strong background in programming, testing frameworks, and web/mobile automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our testing processes.Key Responsibilities :- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Python.- Work with standard testing frameworks such as pytest and unittest.- Design and implement web automation using Selenium and mobile automation using Appium.- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.- Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and report detailed test results.- Ensure high-quality releases through efficient test automation practices.Required Skills :- Strong programming experience in Python (OOPs, exception handling, modules, etc.)- Hands-on experience with pytest and/or unittest frameworks.- Solid knowledge of web application automation using Selenium.- Experience in mobile automation using Appium (Android/iOS).- Understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies.- Experience working with version control systems (Git).- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.Good to Have :- Experience in API automation (using tools like Requests, Postman, or RestAssured).- Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker) and cloud environments.- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.Qualification :- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
