Hardware Tester

Position: Sr Device TesterDevice testing experience around computer peripherals or components—keyboards, mice, webcams, gaming hardware, smart devices like Alexa and KindleAbout the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software through various testing methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesIncorporate consistency, efficiency and re-usability of test components/scripts in your designExpertise in creating Test Plans and Test cases using JIRA/ZEPHYRExecute Front-End tests, regression tests, API tests, exploratory tests, and end-to-end workflow tests, performance and reliability tests and all other applicable tests.Collaborate with Product owners, customer support, architects, software and firmware engineers to understand technical system requirements, business use cases, customer issues and application performance considerations to improve test effectiveness and close the gaps in our testing.Be comfortable interacting and working directly with SW Development, FW Development, Program Management, to get the necessary support regarding key deliverables and interacting with them in an effort to resolve issues quickly and efficientlyDrive CI/CD from the testing perspectiveDefine, develop and enforce automation testing standards and best practicesPeriodically report testing and automation impact, value, and improvement to stakeholders QualificationsA minimum of 5 + years of experience in SW QA Role Required SkillsTechnical skills in functional testing, End to End testing, and Performance testingExperience with JIRA/ZEPHYR for Test Plans and Test casesAbility to execute various types of tests including Front-End, regression, API, exploratory, and performance tests Preferred SkillsExperience in CI/CD processesStrong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
