What you will do

Provide engineering support in well management (wellwork / well integrity / P&A) area to ExxonMobil global wells teams leveraging analysis and engineering insights Work directly with Wells teams to provide design and / or operational support for safe and cost-effective operations Generate plots and reports to communicate solutions and leverage ExxonMobil subject matter expert advice and company best practices to improve performance Ensure all operations comply with internal standards and international regulations Support well integrity assessments and remediation planning Promote a strong safety culture across all activities Identify and implement new technologies and tools to enhance wellwork efficiency Collaborate with engineers and operations personnel on global asset teams Integrate with adjacent disciplines – Production, facilities, reservoir & geoscience teams to provide synergistic solutions to global wells teams

About You

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a recognized university in petroleum, mechanical, chemical, civil, or electrical engineering with minimum GPA and above, Master’s Degree preferred 2-10 years of work experience in the upstream oil and gas industry Strong analytical skills to evaluate critical design & operating parameters through data and trend analysis Experience in writing procedures for Wellwork Operations (rigless and/or rig-based; coil tubing, slickline, wireline) execution is preferred not required Field experience at a rig site or wellsite is preferred Knowledge of the basic wells management engineering concepts including well intervention/wellwork, plug and abandonment, well integrity, well control (well barrier philosophy) Familiarity with AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) and budget forecasts for wellwork activities Familiarity with engineering applications such as Cerberus, WellView, WellCAT, Torque & Drag Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI or Spotfire

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

Demonstrated ability to cooperate effectively in a team environment Flexibility to work in shifts, with opportunities to leverage flexible work hours Position is Bangalore-based with potential for international travel
