Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using MongoDB Atlas.
  • Lead data migration initiatives, especially from Oracle to MongoDB.
  • Apply strong data warehousing and dimensional data modeling principles in designing data solutions.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and transformation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data scientists, and architects.
  • Engage with client stakeholders to gather requirements and present architectural solutions.
  • Ensure best practices in data management, including security, governance, and compliance.
  • Work closely with leadership to align data architecture with business goals.

Technical Skills

Mandatory:

  • MongoDB (including MongoDB Atlas)
  • Dimensional Data Modeling
  • Data Warehousing Concepts
  • SQL

Preferred / Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and MS SQL Server
  • Prior involvement in data migration projects
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership and technical teams
  • Domain knowledge in Insurance or other regulated industries (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
