Role Overview:
We are looking for a Creative Strategist who can fuse data, media insights, and creativity to develop big, bold ideas for our clients. This role sits at the intersection of strategic planning and creative concept development—perfect for someone who understands media planning but thrives in developing and articulating creative solutions that connect brands with audiences.
You will collaborate closely with media, data, and creative teams to bring ideas to life and ensure they are effectively applied across media platforms. Reporting to our Global Strategy Director in Sydney, this role is part of a centralized global strategy team supporting markets in APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Strategy & Idea Development:
Transform consumer insights and media data into compelling, creative-led strategies.
Develop big ideas and solutions that bridge media and creative, ensuring they align with client objectives.
Craft narratives that bring creative strategies to life, demonstrating how they will perform across digital and traditional media channels.
Comms Insights & Integration:
Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to inform and validate creative solutions, ensuring campaigns are insight-led and results-driven.
Collaborate with media planners and account teams to ensure creative ideas are scalable and tailored to key media platforms.
Ensure creative output is grounded in a deep understanding of the customer journey and digital behaviors.
Collaboration & Client Partnerships:
Present creative strategies, ideas, and recommendations to clients in a compelling and articulate way.
Work closely with internal creative, media, and account teams to ensure seamless integration of creative solutions into broader marketing strategies.
Champion the role of creativity within the agency and with clients, driving innovative thinking and approaches.
Innovation & Trends:
Stay on top of emerging trends in media, creativity, and technology to inform and inspire new ideas.
Identify innovative ways to leverage media platforms and creative formats to push boundaries and deliver impactful campaigns.
Key Requirements:
8-10 years of experience in strategic planning, creative strategy, or brand strategy.
Proven ability to develop big creative ideas rooted in insights, with experience bringing those ideas to life across channels.
Strong understanding of digital media platforms (Paid Social, Programmatic, Search) and how creative impacts media performance.
Ability to translate data, audience insights, and trends into actionable creative strategies.
Excellent storytelling, presentation, and client-facing skills.
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across disciplines and markets in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for innovative thinking, creativity, and the evolving digital marketing landscape.
Experience across multiple markets.
