Catering Sales Manager

As a Catering Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. You will be responsible for generating and nurturing leads, managing client relationships, and overseeing the planning and execution of catering events. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong sales background, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for creating unforgettable events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and develop strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on menu options, event logistics, and pricing, and deliver tailored proposals.
- Event Planning: Oversee the planning and execution of catering events, including coordinating with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and finalize contracts, manage client expectations, and ensure all agreements are executed as agreed.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to effectively position our services and adapt strategies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the catering team, including chefs, event coordinators, and service staff, to ensure a seamless event experience.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track sales performance, analyze results, and prepare reports to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in catering sales, event planning, or a related field, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with catering software and CRM systems is a plus.
- Personal Traits: Creative, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a customer-focused mindset.
