Senior CFX Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CFX Artist with 5+ years of experience in creating compelling, high-quality visual effects for live-action films and television. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of character effects, simulations, and the overall CFX pipeline, with a strong portfolio that showcases their work.

Location: India (Remote)

Employment Type: Contract (3 month)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute high-quality character and creature simulations, including hair, cloth, muscle, and fluid simulations.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, including modeling, texturing, and lighting, to ensure seamless integration of CFX elements.
• Troubleshoot and optimize simulations for performance and visual fidelity.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques, and be proactive in applying them to projects.
• Participate in project reviews and provide creative input to enhance the overall visual storytelling.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a CFX Artist in a professional VFX studio environment, with a strong emphasis on live-action film and television.
• Proficient in Houdini and a solid understanding of the CFX pipeline.
• Strong artistic skills and a keen eye for detail, including a solid grasp of physics and anatomy as it pertains to CFX work.
• Experience with procedural workflows and the ability to develop tools/scripts to improve efficiency.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset.
• A strong portfolio showcasing relevant work in live-action projects.
