Job description :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a robust background in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, storage solutions, and server management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience and will be responsible for managing and scaling cloud infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and performance of applications, and driving continuous integration and delivery processes.Responsibilities :- Infrastructure Management : Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.- Design and implement robust and scalable AWS architectures with a focus on networking.- Containerization and Orchestration : Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.- CI/CD Pipelines : Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing, build, and deployment processes.- Monitoring and Logging : Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and performance.- Security and Compliance : Ensure the security, compliance, and integrity of our infrastructure and applications.- Automation : Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.- Storage Management : Implement and manage scalable storage solutions to support application data requirements.- Server Management : Oversee server infrastructure, including performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.- Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.- Presales : Manage client relationships and expectations effectively, participate in presales activities for providing technical solution to client's requirements/problem statementsSkills :- Minimum 6+ years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, storage, and server management.- Cloud Expertise : Deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.- Containerization : Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.- CI/CD : Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Argocd- Automation Tools : Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation and configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.- Experience in migration and configuration of Windows workloads- Monitoring : Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and CloudWatch.- Security : Implement and manage security best practices in Cloud, ensuring compliance with industry standards.- Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and compliance standards (e.g, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).- Scripting : Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.- Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- Communication : Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Implement and manage VPNs,Transit Gateway, and other connectivity solutions.- Design and enforce network security policies and access controls.- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of Cloud environments.- Continuously optimize Cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications :- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Certifications : AWS Certified DevOps Professional, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or other relevant certifications.- Agile : Experience working in an Agile development environment.- Service Mesh : Familiarity with tools such as Helm, Istio, or Consul.- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (ref:hirist.tech)
