Location: Remote mode (required to be onsite on demand)/Bangalore

Job Type: Permanent

Role Overview: As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and securing DevOps

processes for Intrucept’s in-house cybersecurity projects, BISO and AppSecOps. These projects require

frequent code pushes, making it essential to manage vulnerability scans (both code and runtime), enforce

coding standards, store artifacts, and deploy efficiently. Automating these processes will be key to reducing

deployment time and minimizing human error.

Product Environments: Each product environment includes:

 Development - Primarily for development team use.

 Testing (QA) - Used by QA teams for functionality and UI validation.

 Staging (Pre-production) - Reviewed by stakeholders for feature validation, bug fixes, and demos.

 Production - The live environment.

Key Responsibilities: The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will manage the following complexities:

 Product Complexity: Handle CI/CD, automation, monitoring, alerting, vulnerability scanning, and

incident response for a secure and high-performance product infrastructure.

 Scalability and Reliability: Ensure the product infrastructure scales seamlessly with business needs,

leveraging Kubernetes for effective resource allocation and application scalability.

 Security Compliance: Integrate security throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to

DevSecOps standards.

 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with development, cybersecurity, and operations teams to align

infrastructure, security, and product objectives.

 Tooling and Automation: Utilize Kubernetes, automation tools, cloud platforms, and container

orchestration to optimize the development and deployment process.

Core Activities: As part of the DevSecOps team, you will focus on:

 Infrastructure: Setting up infrastructure using tools like Helm and Terraform to create repeatable,

scalable infrastructure.

 CI/CD Pipelines: Designing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools to automate testing and

deployment.

 Containerization and Orchestration: Utilizing Docker and Kubernetes to manage containerized

applications, optimizing resource usage and scaling.

 Security Integration: Embedding security practices, including automated vulnerability scans and

compliance checks, within the CI/CD pipelines.

 Monitoring and Incident Management: Implementing monitoring and alerting (using Prometheus,

Grafana and ELK/EFK) to track application and infrastructure health and security.

 Cloud Infrastructure Management: Managing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) for security,

scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

 Collaboration and Documentation: Partnering with developers and security engineers to ensure

alignment on product requirements, with thorough documentation of best practices and incident

response plans.

 Cost Optimization: Efficient cloud resource utilization to reduce operational costs.
