RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Understand the "as is" technology stack, and the requirements for the new web UI

- Own and develop the architectural design of the web UI

- Create and maintain the necessary technical roadmaps, blueprints and detailed structural diagrams

- Work with stakeholders to develop selection criteria to be used to select new technologies Co-ordinate development of proof-of-concept applications to demonstrate viability of architectural and technology choices

- Mentor technical people, reaching out across multiple technical teams, building strong working relationships to share good practice, especially around architecture, coding standards, branching strategies and release schedules .

- Lead robust reviews of design, code, testing and automated testing procedures

- Instil a quality-first approach to coding and set the standard for high-quality code

- Regularly communicate architecture and technical decisions to business stakeholders and technical team members

- Lead stakeholders to develop and document a practical long-term architectural vision (including methods, processes, and standards), using industry proven technologies, and then work with development teams and senior management to advocate and implement the vision .

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / PERSONAL QUALITIES :

- Extensive experience (15+ years) in software development and project management

- Significant experience in architecting a new web UI for a complex ERP

- Experience working with development teams in multiple countries and time-zones Extensive experience working with a - Microsoft technology stack

- Thorough understanding of web applications for enterprises

- Deeply appreciative and passionate about all aspects of the user experience

- Experience of mentoring and developing technical team members

- Communicate difficult technical concepts clearly to various key business stakeholders

- Highly analytical mindset, with an ability to see both the big picture and the details.

- Strong communication and presentation skills


The position is 100% remote, with some international travel possible.

- A high-level of fluency in English is essential


- 15+ years of experience in software architecture or a related role.


- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices of Agile and devops.


- Proficiency in programming languages - Java, C#, Python.


- Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.


- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).


- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design.


- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).


- Experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code).


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
