Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer / Support Engineer to join our data integration and operations team. The candidate will be responsible for ETL development, support, data cleansing, quality control, and transformation activities across multiple business applications including SAP, Salesforce, Magic, Medea, FAME, and other legacy systems. This role also requires handling day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and participating in upgrades and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, enhance, and maintain Informatica mappings, workflows, and sessions.
  2. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from diverse sources such as flat files, Oracle DB, Salesforce, SAP (RFC/BAPI/OS integration), and others.
  3. Execute file validation scripts, encryption/decryption, file creation, and secure transfers.
  4. Support month-end activities, ensuring timely data loads and reconciliations.
  5. Monitor and troubleshoot ETL job failures, system performance, and process bottlenecks.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support inflight projects (e.g., new company code inclusion in CMS, UAT upgrades, WC mapping discussions).
  7. Provide operational support for daily feeds including DDF, CDS, FAME, and others across multiple geographies (Japan, UK, France, New Zealand).
  8. Participate in Informatica upgrade projects, service restarts, and automation initiatives.
  9. Handle support tickets (90–120/month), ensuring SLA compliance and timely resolution.
  10. Contribute to process improvement, documentation, and automation of recurring tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

  1. 3–7 years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter / IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services).
  2. Strong expertise in ETL design, development, and performance tuning.
  3. Hands-on experience integrating with SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, and file-based systems.
  4. Familiarity with file encryption/decryption tools and secure data transfer protocols.
  5. Experience handling large-scale data (300GB DB, 350–400 files daily, 300+ interfaces).
  6. Strong troubleshooting skills for job failures, connection issues, and performance bottlenecks.
  7. Exposure to automation of validation processes, service restarts, and operational scripts.
  8. Experience working in multi-shift support models (APAC, IST, UK) and global team environments.
  9. Good understanding of data quality, cleansing, and transformation best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with Informatica upgrades and migration projects.
  2. Familiarity with legacy systems (e.g., FAME, MAGIC, Medea).
  3. Knowledge of cloud integration (IICS, API integrations).
  4. Strong communication skills to coordinate with business/IT teams across regions.
