Job Summary :


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Manager to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing security measures to protect Emkay's systems and networks.

The IT Security Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, ensure compliance with industry standards, and implement strategies to safeguard sensitive information.

Reporting to : IT Infra Head

Key Responsibilities :

1) Implementation of Security Strategy :

- Execute the IT security strategy aligned with organizational goals.

- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for enhancing security posture.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement security policies, standards, and procedures.

- Enhance IT Infrastructure change management practices inline with ITIL processes

- Strong focus on vulnerability and patch management of entire IT infrastructure.

2) Focus on the Infrastructure Security :


- Oversee the implementation of security measures for networks, systems, and applications.

- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data through the implementation of access controls and encryption.

- Monitor and respond to security incidents and assist with forensic investigations when necessary.

3) Ensuring Security Compliance :

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, as per guidance from IT Compliance/Audit.

- Assist in conducting regular assessments of the infrastructure and implement corrective actions as needed.

- Stay informed about emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.

4) Security Awareness :

- Create security awareness to update the Infra team about the importance of cybersecurity.

- Guide staff on security best practices and procedures.

5) Incident Response and Management :

- Develop and maintain an incident response plan to address security breaches.

- Lead and coordinate the response to security incidents, working with internal teams and external partners as necessary.

Qualifications :

1) Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

2) Certified ITIL Practice Manager

3) Experience 4-5 years in IT security roles, with a focus on managing security programs.

4) Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 or equivalent is highly desirable.

5) Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.

6) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements :

- Strong ITIL background

- Ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with focus on Cyber Security.

- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative
