Role Description

This is a full-time Shopify Developer role with flexibility for some remote work. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify websites and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement custom solutions, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless user experience. This role involves both front-end and back-end development tasks, such as theme customization, plugin integration, and API integration.


Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Shopify development and customization - building Shopify sites with both frontend and backend programming skills
  • Experience with liquid programming language
  • Demonstrated ability to code in HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Should have sound understanding of Web Services, REST API, JSON.
  • Should be adept at handling theme customization, Apps (development, integration & configuration), payment gateways
  • Experience with front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Understanding of responsive design principles
  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Experience with Shopify Storefront API will be an added advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in e-commerce development is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
