JOB PURPOSE

Leading the planning, development, and implementation of new projects and overseeing all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, design, construction, and vendor management.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities

Project Management, Planning and Execution

Developing and implementing project plans for new property developments in coordination with the executive team.

Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Overseeing the selection and management of contractors, architects, and other vendors involved in the project.

Collaborating with internal teams, such as operations, finance and marketing to ensure project goals align with overall business objectives.

Conducting regular site visits to monitor project progress, address any issues, and ensure quality standards are met.

Presenting project updates, reports, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to hotel development and construction.

Identify and evaluate potential new development opportunities for the hotel chain.

Change orders

Upgradation and Renovation

Planning and managing preventive maintenance activities to ensure functionality and safety of hotel infrastructure.

Planning and overseeing renovations and construction.

Planning and implementing cost reduction strategies including those for energy conservation.

Ensuring all properties meet regulatory and safety standards in collaboration with Operations.

Team Management

Ensuring effective supervision and skilling of maintenance teams including technicians, electricians and plumbers in order to meet departmental goals.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications

BE / B.Tech in Civil with Post graduation specialization.

An additional MBA in Project Management / Construction Management will be preferable.


Relevant and total years of Experience

20+ years of total experience in Engineering and Maintenance within the hospitality or real estate industry with a focus on hotel development projects.

5 to 6 years in leading the Projects function for a reputed Hotel Group.
