About the Role :


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile App Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in testing mobile applications (Android and iOS), ensuring functionality, usability, performance, and security across multiple devices and platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and UI/UX testing for Android and iOS apps.

- Conduct manual and automated testing across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen resolutions.

- Identify, document, and track bugs/defects using standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail).

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues and improve app quality.

- Perform API testing and validate app integration with backend services.

- Ensure compliance with mobile platform guidelines (Google Play, App Store).

- Provide detailed test reports and recommend improvements.

- Contribute to test automation framework and scripting (Appium, Selenium, Espresso, XCUITest preferred).

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3-6 years of experience in Mobile App Testing (Android & iOS).

- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and automation tools (Appium, Selenium, Espresso, XCUITest).

- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile app build distribution tools (Firebase, TestFlight).

- Strong understanding of mobile platforms, APIs, performance, and security testing.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving to Have :

- Experience with Mobile Test Automation Framework development.

- Knowledge of RESTful API testing (Postman, SoapUI).

- Exposure to Cloud-based device testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Kobiton).

- ISTQB or similar QA certification.
