Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in managing our infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring the seamless deployment and operation of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and a passion for optimizing and enhancing our development and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Infrastructure Management :

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).

- Manage and configure servers, databases, and networking components to support applications and services.

Automation and CI/CD :

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing of applications.

- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Monitoring and Performance :

- Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Collaboration and Support :

- Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.

- Provide guidance and support to junior DevOps engineers and other team members.

Security and Compliance :

- Ensure the security of infrastructure and applications by implementing best practices and compliance standards.

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with at least 6 years in a senior position.

- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby).

- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
