About the Role:

Statiq is looking for a Sr. Design Engineer/Design engineer who will be responsible for developing and designing the mechanical enclosure for Electric Vehicle chargers. Job Objective is to work in coordination with Team Lead, Project Managers, Functional Testing, Pre compliance Testing and Production support with Focus on Electric Vehicle Charger enclosure for AC and DC chargers.


Responsibilities:

  1. Hand on experience in sheet metal, extruded parts, manufacturing/ assembly processes.
  2. Identify and convert the product specifications into product feature requirements.
  3. Knowledge of batteries, Electrical panels &
  4. Exposure to ingress cables, power distribution products or other switch gears.
  5. Preferred knowledge of IEC/UL Standards, designing for ingress protection (IP).
  6. Must have excellent Design skills which includes:
  • Spatial imagination and applied mathematics.
  • Handful experience on SolidWorks software.
  • Design and development of sheet metal parts.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning abilities. Experience & application of Engg. Fundamentals, analyse and test product.

  1. M.Tech/B.Tech: Mechanical engineering/ Industrial engineering/Robotics.
  2. Minimum Relevant work/project experience of 3 years in design & development department.
  3. Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated. Minimal supervision will be preferred. Good team player across organization and quick learning attitude
  4. Good knowledge of constrain in manufacturing of sheet metal.
  5. Result orientation and focus on details.
  6. Ability to understand complex problems and collaborate with others to provide effective solutions.
