About Gyan Nidhi GyanNidhi is an industry-aligned learning platform dedicated to strengthening talent pipelines across theengineering, electronics, and manufacturing sectors , supporting workforce readiness for modern technical industries. Its programmes are built around the needs oftechnology-driven and production-oriented sectors , helping learners develop the practical capabilities required by engineering and industrial organisations. The platform’s mission is to bridge the gap between traditional education and theskills demanded by engineering and manufacturing ecosystems , ensuring learners are job-ready for today’s evolving technical landscape.Position: Member, Board of Advisors Location Remote (India-wide)Time Commitment 4 virtual meetings per year(quarterly) Additional optional engagements for guidance or reviewHonorarium An honorarium will be provided for participation and contributions.Role Overview Gyan Nidhi seeks experiencedindustry professionalsandacademicsfrom diverse fields to serve on its Board of Advisors. Members will provide strategic insights, sectoral expertise, and guidance to support the organisation’s mission, programmes, and long-term growth.Key Responsibilities Strategic Guidance: Offer high-level advice on organisational strategy, programme development, partnerships, and sustainability. Sectoral Expertise: Bring industry/academic knowledge to shape relevant initiatives, curriculum design, research focus areas, and community engagement. Governance Support: Provide perspective on policies, best practices, and ethical frameworks to ensure responsible and transparent operations. Networking & Advocacy: Facilitate connections with key stakeholders—industry leaders, academic institutions, policymakers, and potential partners. Review & Feedback: Assess progress reports, project proposals, and impact assessments; offer constructive recommendations. Meeting Participation: Attend quarterly virtual Board meetings and contribute actively to discussions and decisions.Desired Profile Senior professionals, leaders, or academics withminimum 10–15 years of expertisein relevant domains such as education, technology, industry sectors, policy, social impact, research, or capacity-building. Demonstrated experience in advisory roles, leadership, or governance bodies is preferred. Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide strategic input. Passion for education, knowledge development, and societal impact.
