About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Python Developer to join our team.

- You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support our business needs.

- You will be a problem-solving champion, tackling complex requirements and optimizing system Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Identify the most efficient and maintainable approach to fulfill requirements while ensuring system stability.

- Drive discussions and take ownership of partially defined problems, proposing and driving solutions toward implementation.

- Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and contribute to improving code coverage within the codebase.

- Continuously analyze and optimize system workflows to enhance performance, response times, and memory efficiency.

- Refactor and remove outdated code elements to streamline the system and make way for new Minimum of 3 years of experience building backend systems using Python.

- Strong understanding of Python programming language, data structures, and algorithms.

- Experience in designing and implementing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

- Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring delivery not only of your own work but also by identifying dependencies and collaborating for completion.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on finding optimal solutions.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, while also being a team player.

- Openness to learning and continuous improvement, welcoming feedback and suggestions from diverse stakeholders.

Bonus Points:


- Experience in the Fintech domain and/or B2C product development


- Understanding of software design principles and best practices.

- Experience building backend systems using Python and Django framework.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).

- Experience working on products with a large user base (1 Million+ Daily Active Users) (a plus).
