Visual Content Creator


As Visual Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing content for the organisation’s social media that aligns with marketing campaign goals, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing and founding members of Homeal, the business team and other cross-functional teams to bring marketing initiatives to life. The ideal candidate will demonstrate thought leadership in conceptualizing and capturing social-first assets from end-to-end, including production coordination, filming, color grading, dynamic editing and repurposing content that will aid in driving impactful social marketing campaigns across multiple channels.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Develop and collaborate on publishing content for attracting new followers and engaging existing followers through social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and .
  • Produce social-first content and creative that aligns with brand guidelines and company positioning
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to ensure that social content is produced for all relevant social media platforms.
  • Research, identify, and stay ahead of relevant content ideas based on current events, trends, and topics that align with the brand’s mission, target audience, and core values.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create short lists, storyboards, and mood boards for social content and production.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Produce content in a rapid pace based on established content calendars for social channels, inclusive of relevant events, openings and announcements.
  • Process, organize, and color grade LOG video footage and RAW photography using Adobe Creative Cloud editing programs (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
  • Edit engaging social media photo and video content with dynamic transitions, creative effects, and thoughtful sound design utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Capture and edit real-time photography and videography content and live coverage for events in a quick turnaround, as needed.
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably in design, fine arts, marketing, or a related field of education and experience.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience as a visual content creator/ video content editor or similar role.
  • A shutterbug who can capture moving moments through the lens of a phone camera and a professional mirrorless camera and has a fair idea of professional lighting and audio equipment.
  • Exemplary video editing portfolio of dynamic social-first content, demonstrating expertise in storytelling, shot composition, transitions and sound design.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media marketing principles, strategies, and tactics across various channels, including digital, social media, and events.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • This position may require atypical hours, including night or weekend shoot/edit.
