Job Description :

Oracle Cloud PLM Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Oracle Cloud PLM Consultant to join our team. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) with hands-on experience across multiple functional areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, managing, and enhancing PLM processes to support our business objectives while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Metadata Configurations Design, configure, and manage Oracle Cloud PLM metadata including Item Classes,

Attributes, and related configurations. Ensure that data models are aligned with business requirements and maintained with consistency across all PLM modules.

- Batches Upload Process Oversee the Oracle Cloud PLM batch upload process, including defining templates, validating data, monitoring uploads, and troubleshooting errors. Provide support to end-users for large-scale or recurring data migrations.

- Item Security Implement and manage item-level security to ensure appropriate access controls. Develop and maintain security policies that align with business rules and compliance requirements. Monitor and audit item security for accuracy and consistency.

- BIP Reports & Custom Objects Develop and maintain BI Publisher (BIP) reports and custom objects within Oracle Cloud PLM. Collaborate with stakeholders to design reports that provide actionable insights, support business decisions, and improve operational visibility.

- Business Rules Configure and maintain Oracle Cloud PLM business rules to automate workflows, enforce data quality, and streamline processes. Regularly review and update business rules to adapt to changing organizational needs.

- Change Management Process Lead and support the Oracle Cloud PLM change management process, including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and other change workflows. Ensure smooth and compliant execution of product revisions, approvals, and lifecycle transitions.

- Item Structures Creation & Maintenance Build, validate, and maintain item structures and BOMs (Bill of Materials) in Oracle Cloud PLM. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, version control, and alignment with engineering and manufacturing requirements.

- Attachment Processing Manage attachments within Oracle Cloud PLM, ensuring secure storage, retrieval, and accessibility of product documentation. Establish best practices for file handling, metadata tagging, and lifecycle management of attachments.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Proven hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud PLM with expertise in the areas listed above (all mandatory).

- Strong understanding of PLM processes, product data governance, and lifecycle management best practices.

- Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Oracle Cloud PLM modules.

- Proficiency in BIP report creation, metadata configuration, and business rules management.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in fast-paced environments.
