Job Title: DB2 Specialist - IDAA Systems ProgrammerLocation: Bangalore,Chennai.Job Type: Full-timeWork Mode:OnsiteExperience: 4y+We are looking for an experienced DB2 Specialist - IDAA Systems Programmer to join our team and play a key role in optimizing and maintaining IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator (IDAA) systems. This hands-on role is project-based, offering the chance to work on exciting technical challenges and contribute to both current projects and long-term infrastructure planning.Key Responsibilities:- IDAA Installation & Management: Install, configure, and maintain Db2 Analytics Accelerator (IDAA) systems using tools like GUI Management Console, Data Studio, and Admin Services. - Data Synchronization: Manage and troubleshoot Db2-IDAA data synchronization to ensure optimal query performance. - Loader Administration: Administer the IDAA Loader, ensuring efficient data processing. - Performance Optimization: Reallocate storage, enhance system efficiency, and resolve slow SQL query performance. - System Administration: Perform administrative tasks using Putty and Unix System Services (USS). - System Upgrades & Maintenance: Conduct system upgrades to ensure stability, security, and optimal performance.What We’re Looking For:- 7+ years of experience in IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator (IDAA), including installation, optimization, and maintenance - Strong expertise in DB2 database administration, query acceleration, and performance tuning - Proficiency with IDAA data synchronization and IDAA Loader management - Experience with Putty, Unix System Services (USS), and working in z/OS environments - Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize complex SQL queries - Familiarity with SMP/E installation, storage reallocation, and system security - Exposure to IBM Infosphere Data Replication (CDC) is a plus - Experience with Omegamon, IBM Control Center, and Tivoli monitoring tools is preferred - Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and IDAA system upgrades would be beneficial - Familiarity with automation scripting for monitoring and issue resolution
