Job Description :

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work with experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain server-side components of web applications. This is a great opportunity to grow your technical skills and gain hands-on experience in backend development.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.

- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Assist in database design, management, and troubleshooting.

- Perform debugging and troubleshooting to improve application performance and stability.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Basic understanding of backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP.

- Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.

- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Internship or project experience in backend development.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Exposure to containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
