We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our engineering team.


The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java and backend development, with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications.


You will play a key role in building mission-critical services that power Payoneer's global payment ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java.

- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems to support global financial transactions.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver business-critical features.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and resilience.

- Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy requirements.

- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4 to 8 years of backend development experience.

- Strong programming skills in Java

- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and system architecture.
