Role Overview

As a Workday Techno-Functional Consultant, you’ll bridge functional design & technical build, supporting implementations and AMS work across multiple modules.


Typical Responsibilities

  • Configure Workday functional modules (e.g., Core HCM, Comp, Recruiting)

  • Develop and maintain integrations (EIB, Calc Fields, basic Studio)

  • Build and enhance custom reports

  • Support releases, upgrades, and data migrations

  • Document technical/functional designs

  • Liaise with business and technical stakeholders


Key modules & technical areas:

✅ Functional: Core HCM, Recruiting, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Compensation (Core & Advanced), Benefits

✅ Technical:

  • EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)

  • Calculated Fields

  • Workday Studio (basic/medium complexity)

  • BIRT / Custom Reporting

Requirements

What makes you a good fit

  • 3–6+ years as techno-functional consultant

  • Hands-on config + integration + reporting

  • Implementation &/or AMS projects

  • Workday certification preferred

  • Strong problem-solving & communication skills


Work type & geography

  • On-demand, project-based contract / C2C

  • Remote, hybrid, or onsite as per project

  • Talent geography: India, US, APAC
