Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the insurance domain, specifically in Employer Stop Loss (ESL) under Accident and Health (A&H). The ideal candidate should have expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements while collaborating with both business and technical teams. A deep understanding of technical architecture, system integration, and API interactions is essential for success in this role.

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and IT to ensure the successful design, development, and deployment of A&H insurance products. You will play a key role in defining user stories, process flows, and ensuring that technical implementations align with business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Requirements Gathering & Documentation : Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document both functional and non-functional requirements for A&H insurance products.

- Technical Collaboration : Work closely with the technical team to ensure that business requirements are effectively translated into technical specifications and that systems and architecture align with business needs.

- System Integration & Architecture : Gain a strong understanding of the existing technical architecture and integration requirements, ensuring alignment across teams and providing clarity on system design.

- Stakeholder Communication : Facilitate discussions between business users, IT teams, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure clear communication and complete understanding of business and technical requirements.

- Solution Design & Feasibility : Participate in solution design discussions, providing insights into business needs, and ensuring solutions are feasible from both a business and technical perspective.

- Testing & Validation : Support development and testing teams by clarifying requirements, validating solutions, and ensuring the solutions meet business objectives and user expectations.

- Test Plans & UAT : Assist in the creation of test plans, test cases, and contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies.

- System Enhancements & Gaps : Identify and document gaps in existing systems and propose enhancements or new solutions to meet evolving business needs.

- Industry Awareness : Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies relevant to A&H insurance.

Key Requirements :

- Experience : 10+ years as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain, with a preference for experience in A&H insurance and Employer Stop Loss (ESL).

- Technical Understanding : Strong understanding of technical architecture, system integration, and API interactions.

- Business & Technical Alignment : Ability to comprehend and articulate technical implementation details and their impact on business processes.

- Methodologies & Tools : Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.

- Documentation Skills : Proficiency in creating key documents such as BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and process flow diagrams.

- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across both business and technical teams.

- Bonus Skills : Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, microservices, and enterprise application architecture is a plus.

- Industry Experience : Experience with policy administration systems, claims processing, or underwriting platforms is highly advantageous.

- Experience : 10 to 14 years

- Notice Period : 0-15 days
