Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our team at our Bangalore headquarters. This is a full-time, junior-level position requiring a minimum of 1 year of work experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, entry, and verification. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is essential for the role.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas and create spreadsheets for data entry and analysis.
  • Experience using Google Sheets for collaborative data management and efficient online data updates.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy in all entries and verifications.
  • Fast and accurate typing speed to efficiently handle large volumes of data in a timely manner.
  • Experience with alphanumeric data entry, ensuring both letters and numbers are correctly inputted.
  • Capability to verify data accuracy and integrity, identifying and correcting errors.
  • Basic database management skills for organizing and retrieving stored data as necessary.
  • Familiarity with a plant tracker tool for maintaining and updating inventory or project-related information.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Enter data accurately and efficiently into designated systems and databases.
  • Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, or re-entering data, combining data from multiple sources when required.
  • Maintain data confidentiality and integrity in accordance with company policies.
  • Prepare and manage standard reports or summaries, collating data for review by the management team.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support data-related tasks and projects as required.
  • Update and maintain documentation for data processes and procedures for efficiency improvements.
  • Assist in inventory tracking and management, especially using plant tracker tools for relevant projects.
