Who You'll Work With

A fast-moving team across San Francisco, New York, and Mumbai—alumni of BITS Pilani, IITs, University of Mumbai, and high-growth fintechs. We ship weekly and give engineers end-to-end ownership.

What You'll Do

  • Own the platform across web apps, core APIs, real-time document/AI processing pipelines, and data/storage layers
  • Lead & grow the team: hire exceptional engineers, set goals, coach, and run lightweight rituals (planning, reviews, on-call, postmortems)
  • Ship product fast: translate ambiguous requirements into sequenced bets; deliver customer-visible wins on tight cycles
  • Raise the bar: reliability, security, performance, and cost discipline; define SLOs, dashboards, alerts, and incident response
  • Stay hands-on when it counts: architecture decisions, critical PRs, unblockers across frontend, services, and data paths

Core Stack (Representative, Not Exhaustive)

  • Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript
  • Services: Node.js (e.g., NestJS) and Python (e.g., FastAPI); WebSockets/async workers
  • Cloud & Infra: AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, DynamoDB), Docker, CI/CD pipelines
  • Data: Postgres; object storage (S3); vector DB, Elastic search
  • Observability & Security: CloudWatch, Grafana; IAM, VPC, secrets management, audit logging
  • LLM Production: integrations with major providers; retrieval, evaluation, and tracing tools

Startup experience preferred, not required.

You'll Thrive Here If You Have

  • 5–10 years total experience with 2+ years managing engineers in a fast-paced, product-centric environment
  • A track record of shipping 0→1 and 1→N products across web, services, and data layers
  • Strength in frontend + platform architecture (TypeScript/React/Next.js, AWS, modern CI/CD)
  • Fluency in metrics-led execution (lead time, change-failure rate, availability/latency, Web Vitals, cloud cost)
  • Clear, concise communication and pragmatic decision-making

Bonus (Nice to Have)

  • GraphQL; Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CDK)
  • LLM/RAG production experience and observability tooling
  • Fintech or fixed-income domain context; security/compliance leadership (e.g., SOC2)
