Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced AWS Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services, infrastructure automation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of our cloud-based systems.Key Responsibilities : - Solution Design : a. Understand technical requirements from stakeholders and propose scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS-based solutions.- Database Management : a. Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS database services (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Redis).b. Perform database performance tuning, query analysis, and architectural reviews.- Infrastructure as Code : a. Provision and manage AWS resources using CLI, SDKs (Python/Node.js preferred), and CloudFormation Templates (CFTs). Core AWS Services Expertise : - Deep hands-on experience with : a. Cognito, S3, CloudFrontb. DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Redis, PostgreSQLc. API Gateway, AWS Lambdad. ECS, ECR, Elastic Beanstalke. Auto Scaling Groups, ALB/NLBf. AWS WAF, Security Hub, GuardDutyg. CloudFormation, CLI SDKh. Secrets Mangers, SNS, SQS, Event Bridge, Step function- CI/CD & Automation : a. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native and third-party tools (e.g., CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).- Monitoring & Incident Management : a. Use AWS monitoring tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray) to detect, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.- Developer Collaboration : a. Work closely with development teams to debug and resolve issues related to AWS services and application deployment.- Security & Compliance : a. Implement and manage security best practices using AWS WAF, IAM policies, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and other security tools.- Optional Advantage : a. Familiarity or hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock or Generative AI modules is a plus. Basic understating on Authorization and Authentication.Required Skills : - Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and services- Proficient in shell scripting or Python for automation- Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and DevOps workflows- Deep understanding of networking, IAM, and security in AWS- Experience in debugging production issues across services and applicationPreferred Qualifications : - AWS DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect- Prior experience as a DevOps/SRE in a fast-paced environment- Experience in handling production workloads in a multi-account- If you're passionate about AWS, automation, and reliability, and love solving problems in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you (ref:hirist.tech)
