Co-Founder – India Operations (Accounting Outsourcing & Global Delivery)📍 Location: India (Remote / Hybrid – preferred: Ahmedabad, Bangalore)---About the Venture:We’re building a next-generation accounting outsourcing and managed finance platform serving U.S. CPA firms and mid-market businesses. The goal: to solve America’s accountant shortage by combining India’s finance talent, automation, and always-on global delivery.We will handle bookkeeping, tax preparation, audit support, and controller-level services for U.S. clients using secure, tech-enabled offshore pods.We’re looking for a co-founder to lead and scale operations—owning talent, delivery, compliance, and client success.Your Mission:- Build the India engine that powers U.S. accounting firms:- Assemble and manage high-performing accounting pods.- Ensure service quality, data security, and timely delivery.- Partner with founder to refine offerings and win clients.---Key Responsibilities:1. Leadership & StrategyCo-own company strategy, pricing, and go-to-market for U.S. accounting clients.Build a scalable India delivery model—recruit, train, and mentor accounting teams.Establish centers of excellence (bookkeeping, tax prep, audit support, CAS).2. Operations & QualityOversee all offshore engagements: workflow design, process control, and SLAs.Implement multi-tier QA systems aligned to U.S. CPA firm standards.Introduce automation (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, CCH, CaseWare, RPA/AI).Drive ISO 27001 / SOC 2 compliance and security best practices.3. Talent & CultureRecruit chartered accountants, semi-qualified accountants, and finance grads.Build a “review-ready” culture—accuracy, deadlines, accountability.Manage retention, training, and career progression within pods.4. Client & Partner InterfaceCollaborate daily with co-founder on client needs and delivery.Translate client feedback into process improvements.Participate in client calls when required for onboarding or escalation.5. Financial & Regulatory OversightHandle India P&L, vendor contracts, and local compliance (GST, labor, ROC).Manage invoicing, reporting, and inter-company accounting between India and U.S. entities.---Who You Are:- 8 + years in accounting / outsourcing / finance BPO.- CA / CPA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP / tax / audit workflows is a strong advantage.- Proven record of scaling teams or delivery centers. - Strong English communication and client management skills.- Experience working with U.S. CPA firms or global clients.- Tech-savvy: automation tools, cloud accounting, workflow management systems.- Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable with ambiguity, driven by ownership.---Why Join:- Founding-level equity and strategic decision-making authority.- Opportunity to build one of India’s most respected global accounting delivery brands.- Fast-growing, recession-resilient industry; high recurring revenue potential.
