About the Role

Alutec WLL is seeking an experienced Estimation Lead with strong expertise in the façade industry to join our Kochi office. This role is responsible for leading the cost estimation process, ensuring accurate and competitive project bids, and managing a team of Senior Estimation Engineers. The ideal candidate must have extensive façade industry experience and the ability to deliver precise estimates for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the estimation process for façade projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Review and finalize cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads.
  • Collaborate with procurement, technical, and project teams to gather accurate data and pricing.
  • Ensure 100% on-time submission of estimates for project bids.
  • Support the Estimation Manager with reports and client presentations.
  • Monitor project costs for budget adherence and cost control.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.

  • Accuracy of Estimates: Maintain 90% accuracy with less than 4% variance.
  • Timely Delivery: Ensure all bids are submitted on schedule and improve process efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Drive 90%+ accuracy in data collection and high stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Leadership: Build high-performing teams and mentor juniors for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of estimation experience in the façade industry (mandatory).
  • Proven expertise in large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in estimation and project management software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
