As we traverse the journey from $5M to $50M in ARR over the next couple of years, we want to ensure the highest level of financial rigour from the early days to lay a strong foundation for growth over the years. Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about numbers? We're looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team and help keep our financial operations running smoothly.What you’ll do- Maintain accurate financial records and handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.- Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.- Support internal audits and reviews of financial data.- Manage fixed assets and maintain depreciation schedules.- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities.- Take on other accounting-related tasks as needed by the finance team.What makes you a good fit- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.- Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.- Familiarity with accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books (or similar tools) is a plus.- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Salary and LocationLocation: BangaloreExpected CTC: We pay top of market for the right folks and also offer generous equity (ESOP) to everyone in the teamOur Way Of Life - https://www.notion.so/bitespeed/Way-Of-Life-At-BiteSpeed-44d9b9614d9641419da910189b1e9f8e.Our PurposeAt BiteSpeed, work is personal.
