- 2-7 years of experience in Software Testing

- Years of verification experience on CT medical device including Exam Card

- Healthcare experience is must

- Excellent problem-solving skills.

- Verification Experience is must

- Excellent knowledge of testing skills and experience in STLC.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies is a must.

As a Software Test Engineer specializing in Medical Devices, particularly CT Scan Devices, your responsibilities would encompass a range of crucial tasks to ensure the safety, reliability, and effectiveness of the software involved.

Here's a breakdown of your key responsibilities :

- Test Planning and Strategy : Develop comprehensive test plans based on software requirements and specifications. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and define testing strategies. Identify test scenarios, prioritize testing efforts, and allocate resources effectively.

- Test Case Development : Create detailed test cases covering functional, non-functional, and edge cases. Design test scenarios to validate critical functionalities such as image reconstruction, data processing, and patient data management. Ensure test cases are traceable to requirements and adequately cover all software features.

- Test Execution and Reporting : Execute test cases according to the test plan and report test results accurately. Conduct various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, and system integration testing. Document defects and anomalies found during testing, providing clear and concise descriptions with reproducible steps. Generate test reports summarizing test coverage, defects found, and overall software quality metrics.

- Verification and Validation : Verify that the software meets regulatory requirements and complies with industry standards such as FDA guidelines and ISO 13485. Validate software performance under different operating conditions and configurations. Ensure the software operates safely and effectively within the intended clinical environment.

- Risk Assessment and Mitigation : Identify potential risks associated with software defects or failures. Conduct risk analysis to prioritize testing efforts and focus on high-risk areas. Collaborate with the development team to implement risk mitigation strategies and preventive measures.

- Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance specialists, regulatory experts, and product managers.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress, issues encountered, and resolution plans.

- Participate in meetings, reviews, and discussions to ensure alignment on testing goals and objectives.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to medical device software testing.

- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Provide feedback and suggestions for software improvements based on testing insights and experiences.
