Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Location: Remote

Experience: 4-6 years


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, with a particular focus on Core Java fundamentals and expertise in Selenium and Appium. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end QA activities, ensuring high-quality software delivery within an Agile SCRUM environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end QA activities including both manual and automated testing for the assigned team.
  • Utilize strong Core Java fundamentals to develop robust automated test cases.
  • Convert test scenarios into automated test cases and ensure they are reliably integrated and executed within CI/CD environments.
  • Perform both functional and non-functional testing to support the development team.
  • Participate in sprint planning by reviewing requirements and specifications.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities throughout the SDLC.
  • Collaborate as a member of an Agile SCRUM team to deliver high-quality software.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and document issues thoroughly during bug tracking.
  • Act independently to define and execute QA efforts within an Agile team.
  • Document software issues and enhancement requests, providing detailed steps for duplication of defects found during manual, functional, integration, and regression tests.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in QA Automation Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in writing test automation using Selenium and Appium.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working in an Agile SCRUM team.
  • Proven experience in identifying, troubleshooting, and documenting issues thoroughly during bug tracking.
  • Ability to independently define and perform QA efforts in an Agile team.
  • Practical experience in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Strong ability to estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities during the SDLC.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
