Job Title : SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) professional to design, develop, and manage analytics and planning solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and IT to deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and planning models that drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Solution Design & Development

- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAC solutions (stories, dashboards, models).

- Design and develop SAC Models (live and import connections) including measures, dimensions, and hierarchies.

- Build interactive visualizations and dashboards using SAC Story and Analytics Designer.

- Develop planning models including data entry forms, allocation logic, and version management.

- Implement calculated measures, restricted measures, and advanced scripting where needed.

2. Data Integration & Connectivity :

- Configure and maintain connections to SAP (HANA, BW, S/4HANA) and non-SAP data sources.

- Manage data acquisition, scheduling, and refresh processes.

- Troubleshoot data connectivity and performance issues.

3. Security & Administration :

- Manage users, teams, and roles in SAC.

- Define and implement row-level security and data access controls.

- Monitor system usage, license allocation, and performance.

4. Testing & Documentation :

- Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing for SAC developments.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and user manuals.

5. Support & Training :

- Provide post-go-live support for SAC solutions.

- Train business users on SAC functionalities and self-service capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (BI & Planning).

- Good understanding of data modeling concepts in SAC.

- Experience with SAC scripting (JavaScript in Analytics Designer) is a plus.

- Knowledge of SAP BW, SAP HANA, and S/4HANA integration with SAC.

- Understanding of security roles and authorizations in SAC.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP Certified in SAC (BI or Planning).

- Experience in Agile project delivery.

- Exposure to cloud-based analytics tools beyond SAC (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
