Role Overview We are looking for an experiencedPL/SQL Developerto join our team. The role involves developing and optimizing PL/SQL programs, supporting reporting and governance needs, and working with financial datasets. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, experience in requirement gathering, and the ability to collaborate effectively with onsite and offshore teams.Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimizePL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers . Collaborate with business and technical teams to gatherreporting and governance requirements . Performdata mapping and validationto ensure data accuracy and integrity. Document SQL logic, data sources, workflows, and business rules usingConfluence . Manage tasks, track progress, and build dashboards/metrics usingJIRA . Develop and executetest casesto validate reporting outputs against requirements. Createbusiness transaction flow chartsto visually represent reporting logic and data flows. Work closely withonsite and offshore teamsto ensure timely and seamless delivery. Support reporting delivery usingWeb FOCUS , without direct development responsibilities.Qualifications / Requirements Minimum4 years of professional experiencein PL/SQL development, data engineering, or reporting/analytics roles. Proven track record in working withfinancial data, reporting standards, and governance processes . Technical Skills Advanced proficiency inPL/SQL & SQL(complex queries, joins, aggregations, performance tuning). Expertise indata mapping and transformationsto meet reporting requirements. Familiarity withfinancial datasets(GL, P&L, Balance Sheets). Exposure toreporting tools : Web FOCUS (support role), Cognos, Tableau, or similar BI tools. Experience withAtlassian tools(JIRA dashboards/metrics, Confluence documentation). Functional Skills Strong ability inrequirement gatheringand translating business needs into technical specifications. Skilled in creating structureddocumentation and test casesfor validation. Proficient in preparingbusiness transaction flow charts(Visio, PowerPoint, Lucid chart). Hands-on experience inonsite-offshore collaboration models .
