About Our Client

Leading NBFC player based out of Mumbai

Job Description

*Design, develop, and implement robust risk policies for digital lending programs, including direct sourcing via digital channels and fintech-led acquisition models; ensure alignment of policy with the company's risk appetite and regulatory guidelines

* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for portfolios under management, identifying potential risks and opportunities to enhance risk-adjusted returns; Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans to address identified risks

* Support new Partnership and program launches in Digital lending space; continuously refine the partner assessment framework to effectively evaluate associated counterparty risk

* Oversee credit risk management activities, including credit scoring, underwriting standards, and portfolio monitoring, to mitigate credit losses and optimize portfolio performance

* Ensure adherence to internal risk governance standards; Facilitate digitization of risk control measures to prevent possible non-compliance

* Remain informed of ongoing regulatory changes specifically in Digital lending; maintain strict adherence to all applicable regulations, guidelines, and industry standards

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, Product, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Operations, to integrate risk considerations into business strategies and decision-making processes

The Successful Applicant

12+ years' experience in risk policy or risk management in unsecured retail loans business with focus on data driven policy formulation
Experience in Digital lending space with exposure to fintech platforms & partner led business acquisition
