Role: Compass QA EngineerExperience: 9+yearsLocation: PAN IndiaImmediate joiners onlyRole OverviewThe Compass QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery of Compass DC and S&F rollouts by validating, testing, and documenting test cases prior to closure. The role involves both manual and automated test execution, with a strong emphasis on regression testing using automated scripts developed by the QA Engineer. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, deep understanding of data flows across ERP systems, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering and analytics teams.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Execution- Review, validate, and execute test cases for Compass DC and S&F rollouts. - Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts—primarily for regression testing. - Ensure test results are fully documented, traceable, and aligned with acceptance criteria. - Reconcile test outputs with SAP source data and validate data accuracy across systems.Data & System Expertise- Work with SAP data models and processes including MM, SD, and FI-CO. - Reconcile data across multiple ERP systems; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX is a significant advantage. - Work effectively within analytics environments including Databricks, Synapse, and Datasphere. - Use Python and SQL for data validation, automation, and test execution.Collaboration & Problem Solving- Partner closely with engineers to ensure code is testable, identify defects early, and troubleshoot root causes. - Collaborate with the Compass team when provided data does not meet expected quality or structure. - Communicate clearly with Business Analysts, Engineers, Scrum Masters, and wider Agile teams. - Provide concise, data-driven insights and summaries highlighting outliers, inconsistencies, and issues.Key Competencies1.
