You should be comfortable working onend-to-end SEO– from technical audits and keyword research to content strategy, link building, and tracking results. You must also be familiar with the evolving search landscape includingAEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO/local SEO, and AIO/AI Overviews optimization. Key Responsibilities1. SEO Strategy & Planning Develop and implement completeSEO strategiesfor multiple websites (on-page, off-page, technical). Performdetailed SEO auditsand create clear action plans to improve rankings and traffic. Stay updated withGoogle algorithm changes, AI Overviews, and search trendsand adjust strategy accordingly.2. Keyword Research & Content SEO Conduct in-depthkeyword research, including primary, secondary, and long-tail keywords. CreateSEO content briefsfor blogs, landing pages, and product pages. Work closely with content writers to ensure content issearch-optimized, user-focused, and intent-based. Optimize existing content for better rankings, CTR, and user engagement.3. On-Page & Technical SEO Optimizemeta titles, descriptions, headings, URLs, image alt tags, internal linking, etc. Improvewebsite structure, crawlability, and indexability. Identify and fix technical issues:site speed, mobile responsiveness, Core Web Vitals, indexing errors, broken links, redirects, etc. Implement schema/structured data forrich results and AI/answer boxes.4. Off-Page SEO & Authority Building Plan and executewhite-hat link-building strategies(guest posts, brand mentions, PR, niche directories). Monitor and managebacklink profile; identify and disavow toxic links if required. Buildtopical authorityin our niche through smart off-page strategy.5. Local SEO / GEO SEO Manage and optimizeGoogle Business Profiles (GBP)and local listings. Optimize forlocation-based keywordsand “near me” searches. Improvelocal visibilitythrough citations, reviews, and local content.6. AEO & AIO (New Search Experiences) Optimize content foranswer engines, featured snippets, “People Also Ask,” and AI-driven answers. Structure content in a way that is easilypicked up by AI Overviews / SGE(clear headings, FAQs, direct answers). Experiment with formats that increase chances ofzero-click visibility(snippets, knowledge panels, etc.).7. Analytics, Reporting & Growth Use tools likeGoogle Analytics, Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs/SEMrush/Ubersuggest, Screaming Frogetc. Track and reportrankings, organic traffic, conversions, and key SEO KPIs. Createmonthly performance reportswith insights and clear next steps. A/B test meta tags, landing pages, and content layouts to improveCTR and conversions.Requirements3–5 yearsof proven experience inSEOwith a strong track record ofranking websitesand growing organic traffic. Strong understanding ofAEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO/local SEO, and AIO/AI Overviews. Solid knowledge ofon-page, off-page, and technical SEO. Hands-on experience withSEO tools: Google Analytics, Search Console Ahrefs / SEMrush / Moz (or similar) Keyword research tools (Keyword Planner, etc.) Screaming Frog or similar crawlers Basic understanding ofHTML/CSSand how websites work (WordPress / Shopify / custom PHP etc.). Ability toanalyze data, identify patterns, and convert them into actionable insights. Strongcommunication skills– able to work with content, design, and development teams. Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in afast-paced, growth-focused environment.Good to HaveExperience ine-commerce SEOandlead-generation websites. Understanding ofcontent marketing, YouTube SEO, and basic ASO (App Store Optimization).
