Machine Learning EngineerLocation: Chennai / OnsiteCompany: Ebitaus Private LimitedExperience: 2–4 years | Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build and optimize our AI-driven Document Intelligence system. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Small Language Models (SLMs), and open-source AI frameworks to extract and structure data from unstructured documents efficiently and securelyRoles and Responsibilities:• Design and develop ML/NLP models for document understanding and content extraction.• Build OCR + NLP pipelines and leverage frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Hugging Face.• Fine-tune transformer-based models (BERT, LayoutLM, Donut, etc.) for structured output.• Implement RAG pipelines, prompt-based extraction, and agentic AI workflows.• Collaborate with product and backend teams to deploy scalable AI services.Skills Required:• Minimum 2 years of of working experience in Machine Learning, NLP.• Strong in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and OCR tools (PaddleOCR, etc.).• Familiarity with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma) and LLM orchestration frameworks.• Experience in model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and data preprocessing.• Bonus: Exposure to FinTech, agentic AI, or open-source AI projectsNote:Minimum 2 years of work experience in ML mandatory.
