Founded in 1967, It has been a leader in business transformation for over 50 years, leveraging technology to address a wide range of business needs, from strategy and design to managing operations.The company is committed to unleashing human energy through technology for an inclusive and sustainable future, helping organisations accelerate their transition to a digital and sustainable world.They provide a variety of services, including consulting, technology, professional, and outsourcing services.Job Details:-location : Pune,Chennai,HyderabadMode Of Work : HybridNotice Period : Immediate JoinersExperience : 10-15 yrsType Of Hire : Contract to HireJOB DESCRIPTION:Job Purpose:A Senior Consultant DBA Data Engineer primarily focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex database systems within an organization, acting as a technical expert by advising on database management, performance optimization, data security, and disaster recovery strategies, while also bridging the gap between data engineering needs and database administration by developing data pipelines and ensuring data quality across the system; essentially combining the expertise of a database administrator (DBA) with advanced data engineering skills to support critical business data needsJob Description:As a Senior Consultant – DBA/Database Engineer in the financial crimes domain, you will be designing, implementing, and maintaining complex database systems while acting as a technical expert, advising clients on database management, performance optimization, data security, and disaster recovery solutions, often requiring deep knowledge of database technologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical database strategies, while also overseeing data engineering tasks like pipeline development and data integration.Key Responsibilities:• Lead the design and implementation of robust database architectures for large-scale applications, considering scalability, performance, and data integrity.• Assess client requirements and translate them into optimal database model• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies to ensure optimal query execution• Analyze database usage patterns and recommend improvements to data access and retrieval• Implement robust data security measures to protect sensitive information, including access controls and encryption.• Advise on data governance best practices to ensure data quality and compliance with regulations.• Diagnose and resolve complex database issues, including performance degradation, data corruption, and application errorsSkills Required:• Deep Expertise in Database Management Systems (DBMS): Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.• Proficiency in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling: Dimensional modeling, star schemas, snowflake schemas• Data Engineering Skills: ETL tools, data pipelines, data integration techniques• Strong Programming Skills: SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Java• Experience with Cloud Database Services: AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, GCP Cloud SQLSkills Desired:• Cloud Database Management• Data Warehousing• ETL Processing
