This role requires deep expertise inAWS data services ,modern data architecture , andPython-based data engineering , with a strong ability to deliver reliable, production-grade data solutions at scale.Responsibilities Architect and implement scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines usingAWS Glue, Lambda, EMR, Step Functions, and Redshift Build and optimizedata lakes & data warehousesonS3, Redshift, Athena DevelopPython-based ETL/ELT frameworksand reusable transformation modules Integrate data fromRDBMS, APIs, Kafka/Kinesis, SaaS systemsinto unified datasets Leaddata modeling, schema design, partitioning , and performance optimization Ensuredata quality, lineage, and observabilityusing AWS Data Catalog, Glue Data Quality, or equivalent tools Define and enforcedata governance, security, and compliance(IAM, encryption, access control) Collaborate withData Science, Analytics, Product, and DevOpsteams to support ML and BI workloads ImplementCI/CD pipelinesfor data workflows using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build Providetechnical leadership , code reviews, and mentoring for junior engineers Monitor and optimize data infrastructure, troubleshoot failures, and lead capacity planningMandatory Skills ✔ 5–10 years ofhands-on Data Engineeringexperience ✔ Strong expertise inPython(pandas, PySpark, boto3, SQLAlchemy) ✔ Deep experience withAWS Data Services : • AWS Glue, Lambda, EMR, Step Functions • DynamoDB, Redshift, Athena, S3 • Kinesis, IAM, CloudWatch ✔ Strong SQL, data modeling, performance tuning ✔ Experience designingdata lakes, data warehouses, streaming pipelines ✔ Hands-onETL/ELT development , partitioning, data validation ✔ Experience withGitandCI/CDfor data pipelines ✔ Knowledge ofcontainerization(Docker/Kubernetes) and DevOps basics
