We're looking for a passionate software engineer who excels in writing clean and semantic code, stays up-to-date with the latest technology developments, and prioritizes high-quality designs.
Responsibilities- Design and develop high-quality software with ownership
- Collaborate with product management to drive development
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, including planning and code reviews
- Build scalable solutions that can handle Vimeo's traffic bursts
- Ensure technical excellence with a focus on continuous improvement
- Maintain high technical standards
- B-Tech/MTech in Computer Science or equivalent degree
- Minimum 3 years of web development experience with React
- Minimum 3 years of backend development experience with GoLang/PHP/Java and other languages (PHP preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and testing skills
- Excellent algorithms, data structures, time & space complexities, and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of Object-Oriented programming paradigm, design patterns
- Sound knowledge of REST API standards, OAuth, Webhooks, and SaaS standards
- Nice to have exposure to NextJs and various authorization, authentication models
